The AKWIRE™ vScheduler for IBM Maximo® is an extremely powerful and flexible tool that can meet all your planning & scheduling needs for Maximo. Specifically designed for IBM Maximo®, the AKWIRE™ vScheduler provides an intuitive graphical user interface that allows users to efficiently perform PM forecasting, organize and prioritize existing Work Orders, assign tasks to the workforce, resource level the workload, and quickly view resource and material availability through its intuitive heat maps.
The AKWIRE™ vScheduler is an extremely powerful tool for planning your mid to long-term maintenance activities, but it can also be an effective tool for monitoring your day-to-day workload. It can be used to create a Fixed or a Floating schedule.
Regardless of the type of schedule being worked on, the powerful and feature-rich functionality is the same.
Every time you load a fixed schedule, the same PMs, work orders and/or resources that were specified when you created the schedule are loaded in the Gantt.
This type of schedule is used when you want to:
This type of schedule dynamically loads all existing work orders from Maximo® that meet a pre-defined criteria, for example work orders of specific types and/or statuses, along with a specified time range. It is perfect for a scheduler or planner that wants to work with an existing weekly, bi-weekly or monthly workload.
The floating schedule also allows a user to go back in time and bring into the schedule the work order backlog.
Unlike a fixed schedule, a floating schedule will not always load the same work orders every time it is opened. For example; as your Maximo® work orders are closed or completed, the ones loaded in the schedule may vary each time the schedule is opened.
