Technical Support Specialist

Are you a problem solver? Do you love interacting with clients and solving their issues? Analyzing client data, digging through code and finding bugs? And whenever you can, fixing them? If so, read on…

This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated, self-disciplined, Technical Support Specialist with .Net Developer skills to play an integral role in our Technical Support team.

We are looking for an exceptional individual with strong problem solving and analytical skills that can read and understand .Net code, possess great attention to details, who must be able to work both in a team and independently. The candidate should have the ability and discipline to work from a home office.

About the position

  • Main role is to respond to support tickets, in a thoughtful, efficient and friendly yet professional manner
  • Perform web sessions (GotoMeetings) with our clients to troubleshoot their issues
  • Analyze their data as required (remotely via web sessions)
  • Analyze the .Net code as required
  • Work with the developers in trying to identify the source of more complex problems
  • Become a product expert, knowing the various features and modules of the AKWIRE™ Visual Suite
  • Fix bugs whenever you can
  • Add content to our support portal (FAQs, Forums)
  • Support our internal team with their technical issues (laptops, VMs, etc)
  • Help our Testers and perform test cases on new releases as time permits

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Must possess excellent communication skills in the English language, verbal and written (French and Spanish is an asset)
  • Obsessively customer focused and strive to make them happy
  • Excellent customer service skills and can manage their expectations
  • 1-2 years experience in a related field
  • Have held a customer facing role previously, and loved it
  • Problem solver with excellent diagnostics skills

Sales Executive

Are you an enthusiastic software sales specialist that loves to interact with clients/prospects?

This is a great opportunity for a high energy, highly motivated, self-disciplined, Account Manager/Sales Executive to play an integral role in our Sales and Marketing team. The successful candidate will work remotely with our Sales and Marketing team to identify, qualify, develop and close leads to meet our annual targets.

We are looking for an exceptional individual with strong software sales skills who can help us with lead development, customer relationship development, and winning new business. You must also have meticulous attention to detail and work both in a team environment and independently.

This is a work from home opportunity, and the successful candidate must have the ability and discipline to succeed in this type of environment. Note – this individual may be required to travel to regional user group meetings as well as to client/prospect sites from time to time. Travel to our headquarters in Ottawa may also be required from time to time.

Responsibilities 

The Account Manager/Sales Executive is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, generating new sales leads and executing activities that will win new business to support the Sales and Marketing team goals. This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including current prospects, inbound marketing leads, discovery, trade shows and individual research. Once the lead is identified this person will be able to work with the prospect to determine the required steps/tasks to close the deal. This person will also work with the Sales and Marketing team to prioritize leads and conduct appropriate timely follow up and track activities to show progress.


  • Develop new business via telephone, email and social media
  • Identify and win, or assist with sales efforts to win new business
  • Assist sales team with closing existing and new deals when appropriate
  • Participate in Pre-Sales activities including lead and opportunity generation and follow-up
  • Develop and or assist sales team with developing customer proposals as required
  • Develop and or assist sales team with developing responses to RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, or similar
  • Facilitate face to face meetings with clients as required
  • Assist Sales and Marketing team with identifying target accounts
  • Assist Sales team with defining and developing marketing material
  • Attend various Maximo User Groups and other conferences
  • Prepare and conduct presentations and seminars at various conferences
  • Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects
  • Understand and be able to communicate benefits of the AKWIRE™ Visual Suite.
  • Identify key buying influencers within these prospects to determine budget and timeline.
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales lifecycle
  • Work with the Sales and Marketing team to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet quarterly revenue goals
  • Manage data for new and prospective clients in CRM, ensuring all communications are logged and all information is accurate and up to date
  • Perform web session (GotoMeeting) presentations
  • Learn and understand the value of the various features of the AKWIRE™ Visual Suite
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information including sales pipeline reports
  • Meet quarterly and annual targets

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar position 
  • Must have a proven track record in selling software
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales quotas
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language (French or Spanish is a definite plus) 
  • Must have strong presentation skills and be able communicate benefits related to the product to the end user as well as IT, the CIO and/or the CEO
  • Must be able to build and maintain client relationships
  • Must have a proven track record of strong client relationships
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with CRM Software

Software Specialist

Conduct workshops, configuration, training, and other tasks as required for AKWIRE implementations

SOLUFY is looking for a highly motivated, self-disciplined, Senior Business Analyst to play an integral role in helping our company grow by servicing our clients by performing workshops, configuration, training and other tasks as required for AKWIRE implementations.

The candidate should be proactive, a strong communicator with advanced technical skills, with a proven background in gathering requirements, configuring a solution based on those requirements, in a client setting based on various industry needs.

We are looking for a bright individual with strong organizational skills and attention to details, who must be able to work both in a team and independently.

The candidate should be willing and able to travel to client sites up to 75% of the time (3 weeks per month), while having the ability and discipline to work the remaining time from a home office.
