The AKWIRE™ Equipment module incorporates the functionality found in Maximo® without compromising data integrity.  With the configurable data validation rules, behavior and Form Designer provided by the AKWIRE™ Foundation, the screen can be completely transformed to meet your specific needs. And if you need to have data from another source, such as Oracle Financials® available in the AKWIRE™ Equipment screen, you can extend its functionality with the use of a custom Plug-In.

The AKWIRE™ Meter Readings module allows inspectors or technicians to do their meter reading rounds in a fully disconnected mode while having access to all required information about each meter.  The meter information in Maximo® is downloaded to a mobile device prior to a round and can be filtered by location or groups based on the logged in user.  When used with the ink-enabled or touch screen user interface provided by a Tablet PC, the user can quickly enter readings, edit meter details while also having access to previous readings.  An indicator clearly identifies all missing meter readings to assist the technician in completing his/her round.

The AKWIRE™Meter Readings Administrator module is used by the supervisor to view current and historical meter readings and to generate reports for archival or billing purposes.  It allows a supervisor to track missing readings, make adjustments and produce customized Microsoft® Excel® reports that can be e-mailed using Microsoft® Outlook®.
