  The AKWIRE™ Foundation is the core behind all modules available from SOLUFY and provide our users with the tools needed to get the job done, whether in connected or disconnected mode. It provides a middle-tier platform to host an ever expanding suite of tools for Maximo®, other enterprise class systems such as SAP®, Remedy®, Oracle Financials®, as well as your proprietary in-house systems.




The AKWIRE™ Foundation - Data States and Validation Rules
Data entry validation and screen behavior can vary from one organization to another, based on different business rules. The AKWIRE™ Foundation provides configurable data states used within the AKWIRE™ Extreme Mobile suite.

Using the Data States and Validation rules, the Administrator can accomplish the following:

  • Make fields and grid columns Read-Only.
  • Hide fields and grid columns.
  • Change the appearance of fields (ex: color, font, size).
  • Validate a field value based on SQL database query.
  • Validate a field value using custom VB Script code.
  • Assign default values.



Data States can be created for all AKWIRE™ modules based on your specific needs, as well as your own custom tools/plug-ins.


Validating data and applying security can be performed based on current logged in user.


As with all configuration settings, AKWIRE™ provides the administrator the necessary screens to manage Data States and Validation rules. All settings are stored in the central database and downloaded to each client device at synchronization time, again minimizing maintenance effort.
